5G connectivity was introduced to iPhone since the launch of the iPhone 12 running iOS 14 which launched on September 2020. The majority of the US telecommunication providers such as AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile support 5G with very high internet speeds.

  1. Go to the iPhone Settings App
  2. Now tap on Cellular
  3. Now tap on "Cellular Data Options"
  4. Now select "Voice & Data"
  5. Here you can select "LTE" (4G) to disable 5G
