Steps to Remove Password from PDF on Mac:

Method 1: Using Browser (Safari/Chrome/Firefox)

  1. Right-click the PDF file.
  2. Select Open with and choose Firefox (your web browser).
  3. Once the PDF is open in Browser, click File in the menu bar.
  4. Select Print... (or use the shortcut Command + P).
  5. In the print dialog, click on the PDF dropdown menu.
  6. Choose Save as PDF... from the options.
  7. Select a location to save the unprotected PDF and click Save.


Method 2: Using Preview

  1. Open the PDF file using Preview on your Mac.
  2. Enter the password when prompted to unlock the PDF.
  3. Once the PDF is open, click on File in the menu bar.
  4. Select Export from the dropdown menu.
  5. Choose a location to save the unprotected PDF and click Save.
