Below are the steps to install Open AI's official ChatGPT app on your Mac (macOS)
- Click this link to download the dmg file: https://persistent.oaistatic.com/sidekick/public/ChatGPT_Desktop_public_latest.dmg
- Click on the downloaded "ChatGPT_Desktop_public_latest.dmg" file.
- Move the ChatGPT app to Applications folder.
- Close/Eject the ChatGPT installer.
- In Spotlight Seach look for ChatGPT and open it.
- For the first time, you will see the below warning, just click Open.
- Allow “ChatGPT” to find devices on local networks? - Allow
- Next login to your ChatGPT account using your Google Account.
You can press Option + Spacebar to quick access ChatGPT on your Mac!
