If you want to know the exact version number of macOS Sonoma, that you are using then you can follow the below steps.
Step 1: On your Mac, click on the Apple icon on the menu bar
Step 2: Now select "About this Mac"
Here under the macOS field, you will see the version of macOS Sonona, which is 14.0 in my case.
If you double tap on the screen, you will more details about the macOS with the code name (23A5312d) in my case which is a beta version.
