Have it every happened that you were typing something on Notepad++ text editor and you pressed a key you do not remember and the Menu bar disappeared. Well it happens to me sometimes but i remember now what key i would have pressed by mistake its the F10 function key, but i just realized that its also the Alt key that does the same thing.
F10 or the Alt key mapped to Notepad++ as the toggle key to hide and un-hide the Menu bar.
Here is how you can do the same via the Menu options,
- Go to Menu -> Settings
- Go to Preferences...
- Here you would see below the tab bar section a check box "Hide menu bar (use Alt or F10 key to toggle)"
- Check or un-check based on what you want to achieve
