Mac: How to Insert a Row in Excel


If you use Microsoft Excel on the Mac and want to know how to insert a row in between other rows, follow the below two simple steps.

  • Step 1: Select the row where you want to insert a new blank row above.
  • Step 2: Now control-click (right-click) and select Insert.

As you can see I was able to select the first row and insert a row about to make room for the header for the sheet.
