Fix: Error 80072EFE

1. Press Window + R to open Run dialog,
2. Type services.msc and hit enter,
3. Now look for Windows Update under Name, double-click to open,
4. Change the Startup Type to Automatic,
5. Click Apply and OK,
6. Restart your PC,
7. Now try to Windows Update.

Note: If this does not help, delete files under C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder and restart your PC.
