How To Change Mac Terminal Text Color

By default the text color on the Mac Terminal is white and the background is black. If you want to set a different color to the text, follow the below steps (or watch the video above)

  1. Open Terminal,
  2. From Terminal Menu select Setting (as on macOS Ventura or later),
  3. Now move to the Profiles tab,
  4. Click on the color box (next to Antialias text)
  5. Choose the color you want to set from the palette.
  6. Close Settings window.
  7. You now have a new color set to terminal text.
