Error Message:
Git Repository Creation Failed
Ensure the author information supplied in
Xcode > Settings is correct then
create the git repository using Source
Control > New Git Repository...
You may get the above error related to Git Repository creating when you install Xcode on a new Mac device or a fresh installed macOS.
To fix this error you can follow the below steps.
- Click on the Fix... button.
- Now enter the Author Name under Git tab.
- Enter Author Email
- Close the Source Control Window.
