Wondering how to know the count of the files and folders in the Finder App on your Mac? Well you can get such details by going to Menu: View -> Show Status Bar

You can also toggle the status bar using the below keyboard shortcut,
Keyboard Shortcut: ⌘ + /
If you select certain files in a folder, the status bar will also show the number of items selected as shown below,
