How to Change name on Microsoft Teams Application

If for any reason you wish to change the name that appears on Microsoft Teams chat Application, say you want to use your nickname, or add your pronouns, you can do so by following the below options,

• Open Teams Application on your computer/mobile,
• Click on your user profile icon on the top right,

  

• Click on the pencil icon to edit,

  

• Now click on Edit Name hyperlink,

  

• You will see "Updating your name here will update your Microsoft Account." where you can change your "First Name" and "Last Name"

  

• Click Save, and you name on Teams will be updated!
