How to Change Background Color TextEdit on Mac


If you want to change the default background color of the TextEdit application on the Mac, you can do that by following the below steps:

  1. Open TextEdit App,
  2. Now go to Menu: Format -> Font -> Show Fonts (Shortcut Command ⌘ + T)
  3. On the new window click on the document color as shown in the below snapshot.

  4. Choose the color you want and close the window.
