If default if you take screenshots on the Mac (macOS) it is stored in the desktop, if you want to change the default location follow the below steps,
Change default location Mac Screenshots:
- Open Spotlight Search (Command + Spacebar)
- Type Screenshot App and press enter,
- Now Click on Options -> You will see below options: Save to: Desktop, Documents, Mail, Preview, Clipboard, Other location.
- Select Other Location... to select any location you want to save the screenshots captured.
