If you want to zip (compress) a file or a folder on your Windows 11 PC, you do not need any special tool to be installed, you can make use of the built-in compression tool as follows.
- Select the file(s) or folder(s) that you want to zip.
- Now right-click and select the option "Compress to ZIP file"
- Next you should see that a zip file is created in the same location where you are at.
