How to remove password from pdf file

Pdf's need to be protected with passwords to enhance security, restrict editing. But there could be cases when you would want to remove the password and share with others.
Follow below steps to unlock a password protected pdf so anyone can open it.

Important: Avoid using third party softwares available on the internet, they may cause a security risk!

1. Open your PDF file in Adobe Acrobat.
2. Click Tools > Protect > Encrypt > Remove Security.
There are 2 options depending on the type of pdf password security
• For "document open password" > click "OK" to remove it.
• For "permissions password", you will need to type in original password (Enter Password box) > click OK.
