The new Mac OS X (macOS) Yosemite (10.10.3) is shipped with the all-new Photos App (one we may find on iOS devices) that lets you manage photos. You might have noticed that when every you connect any mobile device (iOS, Android, or any other) this Photos App is opened automatically along with iTunes. If you wish that this app should not be loaded when you connect a device via USB, then follow the below steps,
- Connect your device to your Mac via USB
- Now you should find that Photos App Appears,
- You would see a Check-box : Open Photos for this device, just uncheck it!
- That's it, now when you reconnect this device again the App will not be loaded.
