If you do not want the AirDrop Icon to appear on the macOS Menu bar, follow the below steps,
- Click on the Apple Logo on the Menu Bar,
- Select System Preferences... (System Settings if on macOS Ventura 13.0),
- Now go to Control Center on the side bar,
- Under Control Center Moduels -> AirDrop -> "Don't show on Menu Bar",
- Close Control Center Window.
