Find Hostname of Mac running on macOS Ventura 13


In order to find the hostname of your Mac Computer running on the macOS Ventura 13,

Using System Settings

  • Click on the Apple Logo  on the Menu Bar,
  • Now Select System Settings...
  • Go to General from the Sidebar,
  • Now click on Sharing
  • Scroll down and you would see your Mac Hostname.

Using Terminal Command

  • Use Spotlight Search to open Terminal App,
  • Type command hostname

    Example:
     % hostname
    Code2care-MacbookPro-UAT.local
  • The command will return the hostname.
