I received the above stack trace in the Console (Android ADT for Eclipse IDE on macOS) while I was running an App on a device. I noticed that IntelliJ Android Studio IDE was also running alongside when I closed Android Studio the error did not appear again.
Update: I got the same error message again, this time I was only working on Eclipse, it seems like the USB Cord was disconnected causing this issue. Restarting the IDE resolved the issue this time.
