How to Update Device Drivers on Windows 10/11 Manually


The most preferred way to update drives on Windows 10 and 11 is by making use of the Windows Update under Settings, but if you want to do it manually, then follow the below steps.


Steps to Update Device Drivers Manually

    1. Open "Device Manager" by searching it on the Windows taskbar Search.

      Display adapters
      DVD/CD-ROM drives
      Human Interface Devices
      Keyboards

      Print queues
      Processors
      Security devices
      Software devices
      Sound, video, and game controllers
      Storage controllers
      System devices
      Universal Serial Bus controllers

    3. Select "Search automatically for updated driver software."
    4. Click on "Update Driver."
