Peter Steinberger Joins OpenAI
Peter Steinberger, the Austrian creator of the viral open-source AI agent OpenClaw, is joining OpenAI to lead development of next-generation personal AI agents and help expand the company’s autonomous AI product offerings. Sam Altman said Steinberger has “a lot of amazing ideas” about multi-agent interaction and will help make smart agents more useful. OpenClaw will continue as an open-source foundation supported by OpenAI.
