Installing Microsoft Remote Desktop on Mac

In order to RDP to a remote Windows Operating System-based device/server you can install the Microsoft Remote Desktop (RDP) Client on Mac with the below steps,


  1. Open App Store,
  2. Search for Micosoft Remote Desktop
  3. Click on Get
  4. Once installed you can open it using Spotlight Search.
  5. You can find the installed RDP App under Applications folder.
