The United States observes six main time zones. Most areas practice Daylight Saving Time, where clocks are moved forward by one hour in spring and back by one hour in fall.

Hawaii-Aleutian Time HT UTC-10 (no DST) Honolulu, Hilo, Kailua, Waipahu, Pearl City (all HI)

DST Switching Dates:

  • Spring Forward: Second Sunday in March at 2:00 AM local time
  • Fall Back: First Sunday in November at 2:00 AM local time

Note: Hawaii and most of Arizona do not observe Daylight Saving Time.
