Do you want to make sure that when you are away from the Mac device your screen is kept awake and you do not interrupt a task that requires it? And for this, you keep visiting your device just to make sure that it does not go to sleep and keep moving your mouse slightly?
For such use cases you can make use of an App called Jiggler - which is a freeware for macOS.
This app will wiggle your mouse every once in a while to keep your Mac or Macbook awake.

Once you install the App you will need to accept accessibility permission for this app to work, you will see an App Icon on the Menu Bar from where you can go to Preferences.. and adjust the "time between jiggles" from a range of 5 seconds to 24 hours.
Have tested it on macOS Ventura 13 on Macbook Pro.
