Limit scrollback rows in macOS Terminal

In order to limit the number of rows to scroll back in macOS terminal, follow the below steps,

  1. Open Terminal Application,
  2. Go to Menu: Terminal -> Preferences...
  3. Click on Profiles tabs and select Window,
  4. In ScrollBack section, change β€œLimit number of rows to” instead of "Limit to available memory" as per your need
  5. Close Preferences
