Possible Data Loss: Some features might be lost if you save this workbook in the comma-delimited (.csv) format. To preserve these features, save it in an Excel file format.
You will see the above warning every time you try to work on a .csv (comma-separated values) file in Microsoft Excel (especially if you are using Microsoft Office for Mac)
How to Remove Possible Data Loss Message
On Windows:- Go to File -> Options
- Now under Save -> Save Workbooks uncheck "Show data loss warning when editing comma delimited files(*.csv)"
- Click OK button.
- Click on Menu: Excel -> Preferences...
- Click on Save,
- Unckeck - "Show data loss warning when editing comma delimited files (*.csv)"
Now re-open the CSV file and you should not see this warning message!
If you wish to see the csv warning message again, just make sure to check the "Show Data Loss" checkbox again!
