If you want to open a new window of the Terminal console, you can make use of the keyboard shortcut Command + N keys.
When you are on a Terminal - press Command + N, this will open a new Window

You can also open a new window using the Menu option as below,
- Open Terminal,
- Click on File -> New Window
If you want to open a new tab instead of a window - press Command + T
