In order to enable dark mode in Gmail on Desktop Browser:

  1. Login to Gmail on your browser.
  2. Click on the Gear icon (Setting)
  3. Click on Themes Tab and click on Set Themes button
  4. Now select an Image that is completely black - called as Dark
