You might have noticed that Facebook now plays videos automatically on Desktop browsers just like it does on Android or iOS application. The videos starts streaming as soon as its visible (played in silent mode, sound is disabled by default) on your feeds
If you wish to turn off this autoplay feature follow the below steps:
- Login to Facebook.
- Click on Edit Account (down arrow next to Privacy Icon).
- Select Settings.
- Select Videos from left menu.
- Auto-play Videos: Select Off from dropdown.
